Hi Folks,
We are delighted to be able to offer members an opportunity to attend a ‘Carburettor Tutorial’ and learn all about how best to set up and balance your Carburettors so that you can make the most of your Triumph.
Suki from Albrighton Garage has kindly offered to run the Tutorial from his Garage next Saturday 18th September starting from 10.30am. The car being used for the ‘Tutorial’ will be Kevin’s Spitfire 1500. Therefore, detailed questions and answers on SU Carburettors will obviously be available. However, Suki is a very experienced mechanic and former employee of British Leyland so those of us with Strombergs will still be able to gain a lot from what Suki has to say and advise.
Due to the limited space available for members both in terms of the interior of the garage and outside for car parking, we are limiting the attendance numbers to 20 on a first come, first served basis. We propose meeting for breakfast at the Albrighton Garden Centre from 9.30am then it’s just a short drive up the road to the Albrighton Garage itself.
With the limited numbers for attendance and also space for car parking, it would be very much appreciated if members who do attend could liaise with one another and share cars.
We hope you agree that this is a terrific opportunity that Suki is offering our group for some really useful help and advice. Therefore, if you would like to attend, could you please let me know ASAP so that we can have a firm idea on numbers. As already stated, it will be on a first come, first served basis on this occasion. If demand is evident, we can perhaps look to hold another similar event in the not too distant future.
